This policy explains how personal data is processed when you visit intermediapartners.de. In short: this website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services, loads fonts from our own server and requires no registration. The only external service is the spam protection of the contact form provided by our host Cloudflare (see section 04).

01Controller

02Hosting

This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (Cloudflare Pages). A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Cloudflare. Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, to which Cloudflare is certified, and additionally on the EU standard contractual clauses.

03Server log data

When the website is accessed, the host processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, data volume transferred, browser type and operating system. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; the legitimate interest lies in the secure and stable provision of the website. Log data is not merged with other data sources and is deleted after a short time.

04Contact and contact form

When you contact us by email, phone or via the contact form, we process the data you provide (name, email address, company if given, content of the enquiry) to handle your request. Form entries are transmitted TLS-encrypted via our hosting infrastructure (Cloudflare Pages Functions) directly to our mailbox and are not stored on the website. To protect against automated spam submissions we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks technical characteristics of the browser without setting cookies or tracking users. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the enquiry aims at a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.

05No cookies, no tracking, no third parties

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking services. Fonts are loaded from our own server; no content is loaded from Google or other third parties. The one exception is the Turnstile script of our host Cloudflare for the contact form. The publications offered as PDF (IMP Intelligence Series, media data) are available for download without registration.

The reading list in the paper library stores the marked issue numbers exclusively in your browser (local storage). This data is not transmitted to us and can be deleted at any time via your browser settings.

This website links to third-party offers (including publisher sites, event sites, LinkedIn). The respective operators are responsible for their data processing.

07Your rights

Under Art. 15 to 21 GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; the authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.

08Changes

We will amend this policy if the website or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies.
